reminds me of a horrible time in jesuses life when he was on the cross, and people were screaming for his death, and he looked to the sky and said' dear father in heaven, why has thou forsaken me?'

For a number of reasons.

1) People tend to withdraw somewhat when they are down and out, ill, depressed, whatever ... so it feels like being abandoned.

2) Other people, unless they are very close and good friends, just accept people when they are around, and if they aren't around, don't go looking for them.

3) Very often other people just don't know what to do,how to react, or how to help, so they avoid contact.

4) People tend to be all caught up in their own lives and really don't expend that much concern or thought about those not directly part of their lives.

5) The big one ... if it happens to you, it could happen to them, and that is scary, so they avoid contact so they don't haver to consider the possibility of being in your place.

Hang in there, things will get better, and you will be able to find support in places online, and maybe some places offline, depending on your situation.

unfortunally no one wants to be around a person who is depressed or with problems. the thing to do is to get out, take a walk say hello to somone on the street, if you are near a cafe get a coffee and sit and just look at everything around you, breathe in the air, watch a bird fly, listen to the sound of a child laughing ( nothing is more precious than that) if someone wants to join you say yes start a convo and maybe you may make a waonderful friend.......it just takes one person to listen thats why you are posting this and one person to talk to you, dont give up on life enjoy what you got and someone will come into your life and make you feel better.....god bless you and good luck
