My girlfriend is always complaining about her feet hurting. She has what looks like a callus the size of a pea on the ball of her feet dead in the middle. This is on both of her feet in the same spot. I try giving her a foot massage but she says it hurts when i touch these calluses. We tried soaking her feet in epsom salt but it did not help any. If any one has a solution, let me know, you'd be a savior to my ears and her feet.

I had my tonsils out last Monday and was given Difene and Solpadol. The pain is unbearable. I've just spent the night rocking back and forth on my bed holding my head in my hands. The pain is all around my neck, throat and ears. I used to think I had a high pain threshold. I don't think so anymore.

The solpadol works for about an hour and the difene seem to have no effect at all.

I'm going back to my GP this morning and am going to ask for stronger pain killers. In case you think I have an infection, I don't. I'm showing none of the signs. It's just pure and simple (excrutiating) pain.

I don't want the doctor to fob me off with some weak painkiller only to go home, try them out and realise they are useless. So I'd like to educate myself before I go. That's why I'm asking what medication would be strong enough to stop such severe pain? I need something STRONG because 75mg of Difene every 6 hours and 500mg/30mg mix of solpadol every 6 hours is just NOT WORKING!

Thank you

I have been tested for carpal tunnel twice and nothing which I doubt very much. the numbness has stopped for a few weeks during the night in fingers as I have my arm propped up on a pillow. Now recently have been having pulsating in the base of thumb and sometimes tingling in fingers and still sore forearm. Not taking any medications but rubbing cream which does help at times. Is this arthritis or something else? Please advise am at my wits end.

I have very frequent foot cramps. Mostly on my right foot. It is sooo painful that I almost want to collapse in pain.
It's so horrible, because when I'm laying in bed it'll just happen and I can't move.
I don't have arthritis and I'm only 12 years old.

Is there any way to prevent this, or make it stop faster when it happens?

I have had joint pain for approximately 6 years now, but it has now gotten worse and I've noticed that its all on my right side. Recently my index finger on my right hand has been swollen and very sore and pain is now shooting from my finger, up across my knuckles, into my wrist and into the thumb. I went to the doctor and he is telling that it sounds like "calciatitis". I dont know what that is, but he did explain that it's a calcium build up in my finger on the bone. Has anyone heard of that before? Is it serious? I am pending blood test results to see if arthritis is in my system.

At my work I have to put these papers into bags, so I am standing in one spot, for about ten to fifteen minutes, and then I have to deliver those bags to 30-50 rooms. At the end of my little escapade my back is killing me. But it is only on the right side, all up and down that muscle. After that, it's gone, but i'm in complete agony for those 30 min. or so. I have really good posture, I could balance a book on my head while wearing stilletos, so I can't figure out what i'm doing wrong. Any thoughts?

this is a serious question about what side effects you get from taking prescription morphine and morphine patches. my mum has got real bad back problems and has tried many differant methods to ease her pain such as accupunture and epidural injections but so far they have not worked. so now she is taking morphine pills and also got to wear morphine patches, since this she has not been able to keep down hardly any food and there for not eatten very much in 3 weeks. so far she has lost around a stone in weight, would this be down to the morphine? and would here be any thing to keep these side effects down to a minimum? any serious answers grately recieved. many thanks worried son.

In general, I have a high pain tolerance, but I also have chronic pain. Could I be feeling intense pain and interpreting it as only moderate pain because of my high pain tolerance?

My chest began hurting last night. It remains sore but it weaves between intense and mild. It mainly occurs when I swallow but not when I breathe. In fact breathing seems to occasionally help. The pain is so bad that I get past the point of tears.I also sometimes have chills. I've tried Acetametophin and Ibupruofin and they only work for ~30 minutes. I can't find anything with those symptoms. Can anyone help me?

I have a burning pain where my hip is but two inches back. No injuries or anything. It just started to hurt about couple months ago. It doesn't hurt constantly just flares up at random times. Pain decreases if I put pressure on the area or if I hit it a few times. The pain is enough to hinder me from any thing I am doing at the time. If you have had something similar or anything please shed some light? Thanks.
