I have a burning pain where my hip is but two inches back. No injuries or anything. It just started to hurt about couple months ago. It doesn't hurt constantly just flares up at random times. Pain decreases if I put pressure on the area or if I hit it a few times. The pain is enough to hinder me from any thing I am doing at the time. If you have had something similar or anything please shed some light? Thanks.

Might be a pinched nerve. You need to have it checked out by a doctor.

What kind of shoes do you wear daily? Sometimes the wrong shoes will do a number on your lower back and/or hips. Like very high heels, very bad for your legs.

Definitely see a doctor ASAP

And, you maybe get an itch that can't be reached, right? well this could be an onset of arthritis. I have tried everything for this too. See the doc and see in he can give you a cortisone shot.I've had more then several and they help right away.
