My left eye hurts, it feels like someone hit me in the eye, but no one has even touched me. It itches and everytime I scratch it it hurts like a mofo! I wear contacts but I don't think that has anything to do with it...or maybe it does I don't know? Anywho, does anyone know what I'm talking about, have you had this feeling before? Does anyone know why it may hurt?

i am 33 weeks pregnant. Have been prescribed lortab in various strengths for the past year for nueropathy. I sometimes would take up to 12 per day of 5 mg or 6 -8 10 mg. I also have depression (sometimes i think from the narcotic addiction) and have been taking effexor 225 mg and zoloft 50 mg. daily i am 4 weeks from dellivery and have gone cold turkey from all meds the last 3 days. today seems to be the worst. I am throwing up constantly and feel as though i am not getting enough oxygen in my head (feel floaty??). I cannot tell my doctors of my problems because I am too embarassed and do not want them to think of me as an addict (which I am). i have beat alcohol, cigarettes, food over the years so I know I can do this too. my question is how long will i feel this way? I don't think the baby is in any danger as she is still moving lots and I have a doppler that I check her heartbeat with that is normal. Any insight?

This is my 2nd pregnancy. The first one I had an emergency c section and it's the worst experience i had in my life. They tried to give me an epidural but it felt like it was shocking me and they couldnt get it in.

I am terrified of catheters so my doctor said they can give me one after my spinal. But i am worried how bad the spinal hurts. he says they'll numb me first but i am so scared the shot will hurt..... Also with the first one after they got the baby out and was sewing me up , i got so nervous i felt like i was going to throw up and they had to knock me out. The recovery room was even worse cause i am paralyzed and have to lay flat. I was only with a mean nurse and couldnt not stand not being able to sit up and not move.
Then the next day the nurses had to keep pulling me out of bed just to go pee....i couldnt hardly walk or cough or anything. IT SUCKED!

So someone tell me good or bad stories please. I can take it. Does the spinal hurt? I can't remember.....

I have a toothache and won't be able to go to the Dentist until around July, when i'm back home and out of school. So, I take Ibuprofen quite often. It's actually my medicine of choice, for headaches which I get quite often, and any other aches and pains I might have. I never exceed the six tablet in 24 hours rule, but I do take them just about everyday. They are the only things I can find that alleviate the pain. Is it dangerous to take this everyday? Or not a problem? I follow directions at all time.

Orthotics are used to force my foot in the "proper position" while I wear my shoes to help me walk. If my feet are used to this "proper position"and I decide to go barefoot or wear footwear that cannot support orthotics and this "proper position" is now impossible, what will happen to my feet? What I mean is will wearing orthotics cause me unwanted problems from forcing my foot to work a certian way only part of the time and letting it go to an "improper position" any other time or would it be better to keep things as they are and just not use orthotics in the first place?

I have constant back pain, I cant sleep flat, or my back will really ache. I also have a deep pain in my pelvis. Have a hard time starting to uninate, and a hard time empying my bladder. have heard that these might be cancer symptoms. Anyone else have these symptoms and been diagnosed. My doctors keep sending me away with antibiotics. They never help and it is costing me a fortune.

In January, I started to take birth control pills for the first time theu made me sick and I started to have calf pain in my left leg. I went to the doctor and had a ultrasound performed on both my legs and to my relief it was clear. I stopped taking the birth control right away. I still have achy pain randomly. It is located near the front of my shin and then over to the right, right around the curve of my muscle. I started to exercise over the past three months and work at a job where I wear heels often. Up until two weeks ago I was running up and drown two flights of stairs at least four times every hour. I also get the random charlie horses in my legs I was wondering if the calf pain is a muscle strain? There is no redness, it is not hot or swollen, I can see a light blue vein no longer than 1” inch – varicose? The calf is about 0.5 inch bigger than the right but after two knee surgeries on my right knee in six years I figure I favor that leg. I am a non-smoker and about 15 pounds overweight but am working to get it down.

I just had a triple bypass and am doing great--although the pain in my high chest and arms kills me when i try and do light activity---I dont know if i have overdone it or if that is just something that has to heal? feels like ive done about 1000 pullups or something--I started doing some light housework --;loading the dishwasher, laundry--stuff like that but nothing real strenuous.....if anyone has a similar experience to share and maybe give me some sort of idea about what is going on at this point in my recovery, im about 9 days out post op--thanks and have a great weekend!
