I am going through the same thing. And you MUST report the injury within 24 hrs of it happening. Then do exactly as they say.

hello carlie,
the injury must be reported to your staff supervisor within the 1st 24 hours of the injury for you to get your workman's compensation benefits and then it may vary from state to state. So report it as soon as possible to your supervisor. he will then send you to the doctor and it will seem like a lot of red tape to go thru but don't give up....if at 1st you do not succeed then try, try again.
i want to wish you the best of luck in your situation and may God bless and keep you safe and healthy

It should, but most places require that an injury be reported immediately in order to qualify for workers comp. If you haven't reported it yet, you may not be able to get it.

If you filed a workmenscomp claim they should pay for doctor appt. I've filed a claim myself about 8 years ago and to be honest I can't remember. I do remember getting money every week and a settlement at the end. I also lost my job because I filed a claim.
