I got a migraine about 4 in the morning LAST Tuesday. I called my doctor (I don't have insurance). She said all she could do for me was prescribe a few Vicodin. I got these on Thursday. There were 12, and I was told to take one every 4 hours. Obviously they're gone now, but they worked for the time. Now I have another migraine coming on. I have the black dots in my vision, and my eyes hurt, I'm becoming more sensitive to smells, light, sounds, etc, typical migraine stuff. So I called my doctor today to let her know that it's still there and getting ready to come back with avengence. She told me that because I don't have insurance, she can't do anything for me. I asked her if she could do what she did just last Thursday, and she said absolutely not. I think maybe she thought I was just fishing for some more vicodin, but I'm not a drug addict, I just don't want my head to hurt anymore. I live on the Iowa/Illinois border. Does anyone know ANYTHING that I can do?

I don't have insurance and would like to purchase but don't want to mention an ER visit for my gall bladder. I was told to schedule to have it removed but i haven't since I don't have the money or insurance. Can I buy insurance now never mentioning the the ER visit and then go back to a different ER when coverage comes into effect for surgery?

Please help. Also what are the chances of them doing an emergency removal with no insurance? I would hate for them to charge me $1,000's again to run test when I know what my problem is.

Pardon the pun, but it doesn't take a brain surgeon to diagnose strep throat. I've had it quite a few times over my life and know that's what I have. I have no medical coverage and called a local medical clinic to find their fee's are even high.
Unfortunatly, I've have had this sore throat since Friday. My ears are killing me now and I still can't eat or swallow my spit (sorry). I feel better as a whole, but my head...my throat, it's not getting any better and now the ears. I need antibiotics. Is there anyway around that? Or any strep ideas that you know about would be greatly appreciated. I've lost 6 pounds since Friday. I feel wiped out. Please don't tell me to just go to the doctor, we can't afford it. Any antibiotic suggestions? Any home treatment ideas? Anything!???

okay, I have no idea if I was even bitten, but I believe it was because I remember brushing away a bug near my forehead. I couldn't tell what kind of bug, but I think it was a flying bug or a spider hanging from a web. It was a golden/yellow color. anyways... there is a hard lump on my forehead now. doesn't really protrude out, but the hardness and consistency feels like a mosquito bite. It is only slightly red(i think b/c of the rubbing I did on it). It doesn't hurt or feel itchy at all. If it was a major bite like from a spider, do you think it would atleast hurt?

Hi,

All the time I am scared I'll have to pee during a class or drive or something so I go pee like every hour, and before and after class.

I have no problem holding it at home when the restroom is always available.

How do I get over this fear? Do young adults really wet their pants on accident and how long does it take to get to that point? I don't want to be doing the pee pee dance during class, but going pee every hour is inconvienient. Sometimes I try hard and wait two hours, but I am so nervous about it I can't help feeling like I need to pee now.

I can't wear diapers so I can't find out how long I can go in a classroom. At home I am not doing anything so I just can't say I can hold it the same amount of time.

THanks

My husband and I argue about it. even with the air on, the upper level of my home is uncomfortably warm. He won't let me keep the fan on in the kids room because he's afraid the air blowing on them all night will make them sick. It's at least 78 degrees in there. I told him they would only get sick if they already had the germs, and that maybe they would get stiff muscles if it got chilly in the room. Help us settle this so the poor kids (and myself) can sleep in comfort.

enlarge the breasts size. The first do it to not hamper the posture. Consequently , those who enlarge their breasts size, expose themselves to danger of hampering their posture. I would appreciate to hear the opinion on the above said from the both sides, if you please...

I think my circadian rhythm is longer than 24 hours. Is that possible? If I don't control myself, I end up staying up later and later each night and waking up later and later. It's gotten to the point that I go to sleep around 10am and wake up around 8pm. I know this is not normal, and it seems like the only way I can fix it is to continue letting the cycle happen until I'm going to sleep and waking up at a normal time.
