I have a good job, here in FL, as an Office Manager. I am trying to plan a move to CA and do not have a job there, nor am I sure how long it will take me to land a job there.

I take a prescribed medication for MS and will, of course, have to continue taking it. This is where my questions come in. Were I not taking it I would just pack up and go and land a job with insurance as soon as I could. But I cannot do that - I need to make sure I have a way to get the medication (Avonex) coming to me seamlessly, without break. I am a 38 yr old F.

Does anyone know what the steps are that I need to take right now? I suspect it must have something to do with Medicare but I have never applied for things like that and have no idea what it consists of.

First of all, I imagine I cannot apply for that until I have moved to CA and have no job. In other words, I could not go tomorrow, here, and apply for Medicare when I am employed here, right? Also, is Medicare guaranteed to cover this for me? Thx

I usually get sick only 2x a year. But this year i was constantly sick. i was sick more often (during the winter) than i was healthy. I felt horrible, but went to school anyways, since even though it was 8th grade) it is impossible to make up that many days. I only stayed home when i was throwing up, or lightheaded and fainting. I wash my hands a lot, but i guess i should carry around hand sanitizer. Any tips? Does DanActive really work?

Hi, I'm 15 years old and my parents smoke.
Actually my Mom also smoked during pregnancy.
Now I have varicosities (Remember, at the age of 15!)
I really think it's unfair, I've tried to get my parents to quit smoking but they just won't listen to me.
Also is there anything I can do against the consequences I have to take? (Like getting rid of the varicosities)

Please help me, thanks!

i have worked all my life, paid all my taxes and contributed to society in a positive way. however i am partially sighted and do find getting around in an unfamiliar place difficult. i cannot see road signs, bus numbers and train timetable boards. obviously i can't drive either. i have been told that i would probably qualify for DLA. the problem i have is - i have never liked the idea of people claiming from the DSS when they don't need to and have spoken out against it. do you think i should claim to help me with the cost of taxis and glasses (being regisrered as partially sighted only entitles me to a free eye test and offers no help towards the cost of my glasses because i work full time)

I am 15 and lately (for the past two months) I can't sleep AT ALL during the day. I don't drink caffeine, I get plenty of exercise, and have a quiet room but I can't get to sleep until 6 A.M. and don't wake up till 3 p.m. or sometimes I don't sleep at all! I'm not depressed or have any other physiological problems (no bad dreams etc.) but I just can't sleep! I feel tired but when I lay down I can't get to sleep. Yesterday I lied awake for 12 hrs trying to get to sleep before I gave up. Normally, because It's summer, I wouldn't worry but I'm going on vacation Friday and I have to be able to go to sleep early and wake up early.

Any suggestions on how to get to sleep or maybe why I can't sleep?

Im having ALOT of trouble sleeping lately. I cannot fall asleep until around 4 am and then I only sleep til around 8. I cannot use sleep aids b/c my doctor will not prescribe them. I know it has something to do with the fact that I'm in a knee immoboilizer that is Extremely uncomfortable, but if anyone has any suggestions that would be a great help. Its starting to really wear me down. Thanks!

I will be honest, sometimes when you let one go it feels better than sex! It's just that release and relief, I suppose. Surely I am not the only one who sometimes derives pleasure from defecating. It's not sexual pleasure, just a general good feeling. Is this normal at all, or am I weird?

About 4 days ago, a place came up on the lower part of my belly. It was swollen, and the skin was raised in a circular place. Now, 2 days ago, it began to hurt very badly, but it was just red, no black, or any other signs of rotting skin. About this time, blood starting gushing out with a milky puss liquid. It has been 2 almost 3 days, and now it's not as painful, but there is clearly ONE hole, my skin is no longer raised, but blood/puss continues to gush out, especially when I sit down. I am very worried, because I'm not sure what it is. If anyone can share experiences, or tell me what you think it might be, please help me!!!!!! Thanks So Much!!!! If you give rude comments, I will report you.
