You cannot get a retail furniture establishment to honor it, they are not part of the medical community and under no obligation to do so. Kacky is right, you need to go to a pharmacy that has medical supplies, or ask a pharmacist where to find the nearest medical supply company to you. There are memory foam style mattresses that are made by medical supply companies that are just like the Tempur-Pedic. I have one by a medical supply company called Praxis, and it's fantastic. I got mine online though.

Ask a medical supply store. Or try going online to the mattress company and ask them directly and they should be able to direct you to someone in your area that will honor it.

You're gonna have to pay for the thing and then TRY to get your insurance to repay some of it...a prescription for a bed is not to get it cheap at the store, but to let your insurance carrier know that you need it for medical reasons.

You have to go to a pharmacy that does medical supplies. There should be at least one in your area. They can honor a prescription.
