I am a nurse on a cancer unit. It depends on what you want to do with hospice and what your credentials are.
Volunteers usually have to take an orientation and classes to work with the hospice patients.

There are home health aides. I dont think you need credentials for that. My sister ilaw is one of them. There are also RN's. A friend of mine just passed away and he was in hospice care, They were all wonderful people, They came to the house whenever they were called., which was often. An RN stayed with my friend and hs family until he passed away. She was a very comforting and supportive lady. It takes special people to do their job. They deserve alot of credit.
