Milk cause alot of flem..not good when having a cold.
Id try some fruit smoothies..w/ a little OJ or apple juice for the juice.Freeze your fruit first then add some oj in blender then throw in your frozen fruit..chop and ohhh soo good!
Gingerale is good if you cant hold anything down..ice cold.

You can have pretty much anything you want, as long as fever is not present. Doctors say to drink lots of fluids both cold and hot. If fever is present, it's best to say with cold drinks.

Cold drinks are fine but too much dairy isn't good if you have mucus. Makes it worse in some people.

off course he/she can eat !! its just a myth that cold drinks and ice creams cause cold..
at least i do!

Won't cause any more harm. But certainly dropping the body's temperature during a time when it needs it for destroying bacterial cells and maintaining internal constancy would be a negative aspect.
