The answers were extremely helpful. Some1 said it was the ulnar nerve n I looked it up n it sounds like exactly that. Will this go away on its own or do I need an elbow splint?

Wow in response 2 answers... I thought Id have 2 c a orthopedic. Hmmm as u say a neurologist - is there a way u can share ur experience?

Self diagnosis and treatment is not a good idea. If indeed it is ulnar nerve inflammation, you may need medication as well as a splint. You may need nerve conduction studies done too. I would suggest that you see a doctor for treatment.

Definitely talk to your neurologist about this, since this is caused by 2 or 3 different things. So self-diagnosing on this one would definitely not be possible. Your doctor won’t give you an answer till he does a test on your nerves.

I’ve had this myself.
