I know that you can't get sick just from a cold temperature, but my husband claims that he got sick because I keep our bedroom too cool at night. He also claims he gets sick when I run a cool air humidifier in the room. Is he just whining or do I need to turn up the heat?

I got a bill for an ecography and it says $42.00 was applied to your deductible. The bill says I owe their company $42.00. What does this mean. Why do I owe them even more money than I paid them? I already paid my $40 copay!!

I often hear about the dangers of holding a cell phone to your head. Now with these new notebook pc's with multi-gigahertz system clocks I'm a little worried. I often like to browse, sitting down with my notbook on my lap or sometimes even on my stomach when I'm lying down. Should I be concerned about this radiation??

I was charged with a felony 5 (4) years ago. My ex-husband's friend reported to the Welfare department that my ex-husband was living with me. He was living in Florida and his friend and him had a disagreement. And took it out on me and my son. I was charged with theft by deception. I was on community control until my restitution was paid, which wasn't until March of 2006. I was so excited because I wanted to finish nursing, and go back to work at the nursing home. But now I would have to be re-certifiied. I have checked online for my criminal record and it does not show up. I was wondering if I went back to the nursing home if I would pass the fingerprints, until this is exponged I can not finish nursing or work in a nursing home. I was told it takes 3 years after I have been released from community control and paid restitution that then I could apply to have my record exponged. I would like some info on this. There are people out there just getting out of prison going to school.

I've been wearing at least some form of heel since I was 15 (11 years) and stiletto's for the past four years.
Last month a spent a week working in trainers (had to) and even though since then I've gone back to heels, the calf - the lowest part just above my ankle - of my right leg always seems to 'shoot through' whenever I put my foot down. Stepping out of my shoes isn't a problem but walking around the house barefoot, everytime I get up off the couch or out of bed I get a short sharp pain. Since I'm at home a lot I spend a lot of time barefoot or at least standing flat on the ground and it's really èvery time I put my foot down.
I know the tendons (or something to that effect) stretch in and out and need some time to readjust but it's been over a month now since the trainers-week, what could be up?

I am due to get out of the Marine Corps this Nov, and will also turn 27 that same month. Is it too late for me to pursue an MD? I know the program takes at least 10 years, and I am already around 9 years behind the normal average age. I have some an Associates, but not my BS. Is it doable?

I saw a documentary which said that some doctors are advising their post-surgical patients to add hydrogen peroxide to their drinking water to speed up the healing process. They say that the patients who do this actually do recover faster than the ones who don't. Is there any truth to this? If so, can healthy people do the same thing to maintain or improve their health? What should be the ratio of hydrogen peroxide to water?

I had my gall bladder removed a few years ago and since then after mostly every meal I have to go. I asked the doctor and he says it depends on the person. That did not seem to answer my question. I eat pretty healthy, I exercise occasionally, bike riding with the kids, walk the dogs, walk the board walk, ride an exercise bike, walk the mall. I am not a couch potato so I am kind of confused.
