have you looked at any travel companies for nurses
medpro
supplemental healthcare
or any home care companies in your area.
there are tons of companies out there and being a nurse you can practically find a job anywhere you want
and depending on your experience and whether you have a RN or LPN license will make a difference too
good luck

How long have you been a nurse? why do you slip in piss, most nurses I know dont clean piss the aide does, the spit on I understand I'm a respiratory therapist, I agree with trying another line of nursing, why are you a slave to gangbangers and drug addicts, sounds like you are in the ER, why not go to ICU? and the zero respect unless you are a doctor or Jesus Christ or the two combined then everyone everywhere gets zero respect, it is not greener on the other side...... so stop looking over the fence... lol

I'm a nurse in Labour & delivery and it's not that bad. We still see our share of bodily fluids but it seems different somehow.
And just imagine the satisfaction of being able to say at the end of the day that you help bring life into the world (and epidurals do wonders for the patients) Hang in there, I know we get nurses all the time for different backgrounds, so it's never too late to change units

Wow....are you sure you aren't a CNA instead of an LPN or RN? Because if there are CNAs available on the floor, then you shouldn't be changing diapers. In any event, I was in school to become an RN myself, and I gotta tell ya, it was wayyyy too expensive and hard to go through the whole program, get your degree, and then change your career choice. I say stick with it. Just change jobs. You should be able to get a job ANYWHERE.

The only other career that pays well and you don't have to deal with people is working from home, trading stocks on the internet.
I'm currently doing this and i also do web design work on the side.
Stock market stuff is easy to do now with the internet and the banks here in canada.
If you want to know more, contact me. I'll be happy to explain everything in much more detail.

P.S. Yes, you can make MUCH more doing this then being a nurse. Just imagine raking in a few thousand dollars a day rather than doing that a month... this is now possible, here.

Not teaching. I'm a community college prof and I get $13/hour. Kindergarten teachers make more than me, but they're only like $18/hr.
Good luck!

Well, I'm sure you got into that field because you wanted to help people. Maybe relocate to an area that's not so prone to this? You have to start by thinking of what else you would want to do that's rewarding, and not just by its pay scale....

Why not try another facility rather than giving up on the whole field?
