There are no REAL interations except for increased drowsiness and sedation. SInce they are both for sleep there is NO reason to take both of them together.

Wow, the two together should make you comatose! Trazadone is a lower dosage form of a drug they once gave to psychotic people in order to turn them into vegetables when they had no idea how to treat people with mental illnesses. It will relax you and make you sleepy, but Rozerem is a new drug made to help you sleep. So the two together are overkill, and could actually be harmfull, kind of like taking too many sleeping pills (duh). If your doctor says stop, STOP taking the trazadone.

I am assuming you misspelled Trazodone (Desyrel)...and that you didn't misspell Remeron (mirtazapine)...?
There is a known interaction between REMERON (mirtazapine) and TRAZODONE (Desyrel). This combo can lead to "serotonin syndrome" - which is relatively rare, but could literally kill you...
However, there is NO currently known interaction between ROZEREM (ramelteon) and TRAZODONE (Desyrel).
=
In any event, if it is ROZEREM (ramelteon) and TRAZODONE (Desyrel) - your doctor may know of a reason that is specific for you not to take them together...and you should not take them at the same time without further speaking with him.
Furthermore, it is NOT advisable to take both of these medications at the same time if they are BOTH intended for the same reason - namely, insomnia.
If the trazodone were for depression and the rozerem were for insomnia, than this might be more reasonable...but, again, I would speak with your doctor first.
LAST TIP: don't take rozerem with any high fat food or a high fat meal, it will delay or blunt its effect. (i.e. it won't work well with a large glass of whole milk or with a heavy dessert, etc...)
All-in-all, you should talk with your doctor about all of these issues, who knows whether or not you should even trust me...?!
Grace and peace,

We don't even need those features in our front garden and our nosy neighbours are calling the authority because we coughed and farted at the same time. I can't abide by nosy people leave us more interesting people alone you interfering feckers!! Otherwise my zombie friend Jack will plant some dog poo on door step and set light to it then rip their head off and shitdown a rubberneck. I wish I could blame rabid poosums but all I can say is the soppy muntjac did their dirty business in the early hours of the morning.
