Approximatley 5 hours ago I had a wart removed by my doctor. He froze the wart that was on the inside of my toe. I have a high tolerance for pain however this was and still is causing me excruciating pain.

The toe is very sensitive and feels as though there is a knife stuck in it. I realize there are an abundance of nerve endings in the toe, which is why this hurts so bad. However is it normal to still be in this much pain hours after the freezing of the wart? And if so, what can I do to reduce the pain? I have taken over the counter pain killers throughout the day. Thanks so much

A heavy bench fell on my toe today, and turned it blue. The nurse said my toe nail is going to fall off. How long does it usually take for it to come off?... how long does it take for it to grow back?... and is it really painful?

In August, I had two MRI'S: a t-spine and an L-spine both w/o Contrast. I have a bulging disc at T11-T12. The doctors states" No evidence for spinal or foraminal stenosis. No focal disc herniation". I hurt 24/seven. I am currently in Physical Therepy order by my ORTH. but from what i have read and heard from others it isn't that encouraging. I fear i may be facing surgery down the road especially if i am involved in additonal car accidents. Someone hit us so this was the result. Should I request my doctor order a mallogram(SP?) I feel i can no longer trust my md because of past experience but should i get a second opinion from another orthepaedic? I am really confused. So much especially with the insurance wanting to settle and everything. Any adivise?

Friday night I slipped down a step and landed awkwardly on my left foot. After a trip to A&E I was told I had possibly broken my 4th metatarsal bone and would need to go back for a review in two days time. Anyway I went back had another x-ray and have been told its not broken but I have damaged the ligaments that go along my foot. I was given a crutch and told it will hurt for two weeks and be better after two months and that was it! What I want to know is.. how can I speed up recovery? How long will I need the crutch for? What excercises can I do and when? and most importantly when can I attempt to drive again!

Yest. i fell down 4m a slowly moving bus. There was an impact at d back of my head. There was no external injury on my head. Therz nt even a single scratch on my body too.
Therz no headache, unconsiousness except sme ringing in my right ear that also very mild. There is no disturbance in my vision or any pain in head except pain in sternocleidomastoid muscle n a few muscles at d back side of cervical vertebrae.
There is no memory loss, confusion except a mild heavyness at right side of head. Its nt recognizable normally bt its felt when i sleep or walk on road or so.
There is no nausea or vomiting.
I can walk normally. I can talk normally. I can answer the questions properly, i can remember everything of my past.

So i want 2 knw tht is this condition serious? Can it b serious? or hw mch damage can b expected in this condition?
Thank u for ur answers

I was just getting ready for bed & hit the top of my head on the corner of my chest of drawers very hard. It scared the crap out of me when I did it. I have a gash on the top of my head & although I feel fine, I've always heard not to go to sleep if you have a concussion. Should I be okay?? What's some symptoms of a concussion?

I went to dr cause my knees are bad and when they went out I fell on my foot hard. it was a orthopedic dr but all he did was feel my knee and said theropy, he didnt even look at my foot or any of the xrays. I wont go to theropy cause it hurts to even move my knees and at the hospital they said moving them (exercising) would cause more damage. I over heard the dr at the office as I was leaving tell his nurse not to schedule him so full cause he had things to do in evening (my app. was at end of day) knees getting worse but worse of all is my foot. I had xray at hospital about 1 month ago but showed no break. but now I can hardly put weight on it and very sharp pains in bottom when trying to walk. could there be a fracture that was not seen first time? every day it gets harder and harder to walk on foot. I know my knees are from the cartlidge but I am not sure what is wrong with my foot

I had spinal fusion surgery 12 days ago, L4, L5. I was up and walking within one day, and out of the hospital in less than two. I'm wearing a brace, and have some pain, but manageable. Walk about a mile a day, but that's about only activity I can do now. Can anyone share their experience on recovery time?

I just strained both my hamstrings during track practice. I did the usual things... warm-up, stretches.. when it came to the sprints, my thighs started to hurt.

i'm pretty sure i strained them.

my neck joint is fused and my head is bent a little forward permenantly. the whole spine joints too fused. so i can't bend or move my head to any sides. to see any thing i have to turn my whole bodly. doctors say that calcium is depositing around the bones and joints so that the joints are fixed and cannot turn or move.

I've injured my back and am having problems sitting down. It is now hard to get up. It's so depressing because my body was getting into shape and I was losing weight and now I can't exercise.

Anyone know how to get my back going again? Also I am an office assistant and it is really hard to work. What do you do for that kind of pain?
