It would be very hard to get a doctor to do this, unless the doctor was a family member. The doctor would have to invest in the materials, not to mention the time to put it on, and the fact that they are doing an unnecessary "treatment" as it were. You might try to figure out some other way of doing the assignment.

It will be very expensive. You are taking his time and material. It can easily cost over $100.
Just buy some gauze and plaster of Paris and do it yourself.

You could try calling your doctor and inform him on what it is for. You may have to pay a small material fee.
