You may have a stye, also called chalazion or hordeolum. Try applying a hot moist washcloth to the affected area for 10-15 minutes four times per day and see if this resolves it. If you develop pain, drainage, increased swelling around your eye or change in vision, see your healthcare provider.

This happened to me once. It was a stye. If you go to the doctor, you can get a prescription eye ointment....my stye deflated really fast-within 2 days...so get to the doctor fast. For the time being, you can put a warm moist washcloth over it.

could have gotten something in it or hit it over the night. if it persists til this afternoon u might wanna go in to drs before they close. but if it doesnt hurt then its nothing to be concerned over immediately. but if it will make u feel better u can always call ur dr or local clinic and describe it to them and they might be able to tell u what it is or what to do.

Sounds like a sty, rub a gold ring on it immediately.
Wash face with hot and then cold water, rub gold on it again.

Check it out with your doctor! Even if it does swell or hurt, it can be harmful too.
