had lower back pain on & off with some pins & needles in buttocks & left leg.
Y/day I got out of the car & could barely move, i have pain under my bump & my bum is numb - spoke to the surgery & they will apply for s phsio appt but there is a waiting list - advised me to take co-codamol & paracetamol with a hot water bottle & plenty of rest (i have 2 children of school age)
Today I am in just as much pain, should I call them again or just suffer it out until i get this physio appt, dr thinks i may of slipped/pulled a disc in my back?

Ive always had bad headaches but they would be once or twice a month, they have gotten worse. lately i have them almost every other day, but right now ive had a headache for the past 2 days. ive seen a doc about them, dont an EEG and found nothing. ive even had to go to the ER cause they got really bad oneday, and they did and MRI and found nothing. I have an RX for Imitrex and it doesnt even help. Ive tried every thing and nothing helps. I dont even have to be stressed or tired or any thing to get them, they just happen. But im starting to get angry cause i get them so much now and they affect my daily life. I just got my eyes checked so no problem there. Im not at a computer very much, Im not around any thing loud either. So i really dont know what is causing them or what i can do to help them.

So can any one PLEASE help me? I really need the help and i dont know what kind of doctor to see, my normal doctor game me the imtrex and a nurologest did the EEG.

PLEASE HELP!!!

After eating a big meal, a lot of times I will get a severe pain in my solar plexus area that last for several hours, usually starting around 2 or 3 AM and am unable to sleep until it goes away which could be several hours later. I've tried all the acid reflux over the counter stuff like rolaids, tums, alka-seltzer. Even got prescription for prilosec, nexium, etc. None of that crap works. What's weird is, if I eat my first meal for the day and wait about 8-9 hours before eating my second and final meal for the day, I'm usually fine. It seems to have something to do with digestion, like my stomach needs to have fully digested a prior meal before taking in any more food. There was also a couple of times when I had the pain, then had a large bowel movement, and it cleared the pain. Anyone have similar problems or any solutions for my pain? When I'm in pain, it is unbearable. I just wish I could find a way to alleviate the pain when it comes.

My parents and I are thinking about bringing my grandmother to the U.S. but we are worried about health insurance. My grandmother is 87 years old and has many medical conditions so we need to get her something that would cover the medical expenses. She will be an immigrant because she doesn't have U.S. citizenship or green card, and she has never worked in this country. Since she is over 65 years old, she cannot get a health insurance, but I am hoping that she can get something that is similar to Medicare, Medi-Cal, or Medicaid. I know that Medicare is for people who is either a citizen or permanent resident and who has worked least 10 years in Medicare-covered employment. Is there anything that my grandmother could be eligible for medical health plan or insurance although she is an immigrant, over 65 years of age, and never worked in the U.S.? Any advice or suggestion would be much appreciated.

I left my differin gel in the car overnight and it got down to about 35 degrees. I realized it and I got it out of the car - it did not freeze but it was stored at a low temperature for approximately 12 hours.

Will this have any impact on the medicine's effectiveness, should I use it?

Thanks,

My knees and ankles always hurt when I do a lot of excersize. I feel a sharp kind of pain in them, and I don't know what it is. Also, if I bend down bending them, they will kill me. It sometimes gets to a point where it is difficult to walk. Have any idea what it could be?

I doubt this is real, but is it true that if you pop a blister, a bacteria can enter that will affect your spine? I don't the whole bacteria thing can happen, but I never though it could infect your spine. Is this true? In my case, it's an extremely minute blister causes from a burn on my finger.

My grandmother is having a constant pain in only one leg from about the ankle up to her hip/butt area. Not excruciating pain but still very painful and uncomfortable. It gets worse when she starts moving or walking etc. and is only sometimes somewhat relived with rest but never completely goes away. Stretching, pain relievers, heating pads etc. haven't really helped much. Also its a constant consistent pain throughout the leg that doesn't hurt more when u touch or push on the leg its just kinda there. Theres no explanation really. She hasn't done anything physical or anything that would cause an injury and the fact that its almost the whole leg makes injury seem unlikely to me. She also feels heaviness in the leg and sometimes like a tingling/crawling feeling that she finds hard to explain. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this or maybe something that might help relieve the pain? Shes 67 and in good health overall and no meds or anything like that if that helps.

I am a 41 year old female. The cramps I have are right below the breasts (in the middle) and go down to about 3+ inches above the navel and feel like a leg cramp only worse because of the area where they occur.
The area gets very hard and feels all knotted up. It's not hard to breath but very painful until the cramp recedes and then the area is sore for a while.
My father suffers from these cramps also.
Any idea of what causes them, what might cure them, how to keep them from happening?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

When both of my calfes cramped up badly at the same time, i stretched and it went away, I couldnt walk for a few days that well. Its been over a month and I am still having issues, like little spasms and some discomfort and pain. Since I cramped I have taken a mutli vitamin daily, I drink a ton of water, and started excercising, and then eventually quit smoking, but I dont understand why my calfes still are uncomfortable. Did I severely tear something? I was told that it can take time to repair, but this is getting annoying, please help!!

My friend is a perfectly healthy 20 year old female. Has had a recent medical examination and no problems were found.
I was talking to her on the phone just now and she complained of a sudden tightness in her chest and a loss of breath. She had bent down to pick something up when this occurred I think.
She has never had any breathing or chest complaints such as asthma etc and from what I can gather her blood pressure is fine also.

I know this isn't really the place for real medical advice but I'm just curious as to whether anyone may be able to offer some kind of information as to what could be the cause of a sudden chest pain like this.

Thanks.
