My knees and ankles always hurt when I do a lot of excersize. I feel a sharp kind of pain in them, and I don't know what it is. Also, if I bend down bending them, they will kill me. It sometimes gets to a point where it is difficult to walk. Have any idea what it could be?

Not seeing a Doctor when the symptoms suggest a serious condition. It could be hyperflexation of joints in so far as you are one of these people who have unstable joints, so the joints move beyond the normal range thereby causing pain. If this is allowed to continue because you will not seek medical advise then you will end up crippled with Arthritis. Take it from one who knows, have RA, it is not fun to have Arthritis, spend more time dealing with symptoms then having a life and I am just 49! Have you had Mono? If so you need to seek out a Doc!

Since you don't want to see a doctor you might try either WebMD or Discovery Health. Both have ways to help you figure out what your problem is. Do your knees get swollen? Are the warm to touch. Are they better in the morning or worse. One other place you might try is the NBC affiliate for your area. For me its wotv8.com (the Grand Rapids, Mi. NBC affiliate). They have all kinds of little quizzes you can take.
Anyway, good luck with getting your problem diagnosed

It sounds like you don't really want to know what's wrong with you since you don't want to go to a doctor. I think from what you say that you have arthritis and you can get it as a young person I was 19 when I first got it.
