Are you sure it's from Arthritis?
Or, could it be Chrondromalysia?
(pronounced Chon-dro-Malaysia)
This is Calcium crystals that form under kneecaps. And yes, it can be quite painful.
Before you self-diagnose the Arthritis, you should check with a Doctor about Chrondromalysia.

Is it Arthritis though????
I don't believe "Instant Cures" should be found over the internet.
And a long history of illness should be considered before knowing the right treatment.
See a doctor- herbalist or naturapath or visit a hospital. Doctors on line???
Pain Relief will make you vulnerable, so be careful with ANY drugs.
Have someone double check the medicine!
Grandma's home remedies ...
Try rubbing half lemons on the painful knees alternate with either heat pads or cold compresses if prefered.
Poultices of grated potato wrapped around the knees will 'draw' inflamation from the joints.
Ease it with oil - lavender or tea tree or any chest vapour rub.
Truth to say get a health check.
Also try kicking at a pillow everyday!! Vitamin C lots!
And salt baths seem to help too.
Fresh fruit & veges raw if possible as much as you can stomach!
A salad a day and mineral water.
Drinking Aloe vera juice very very diluted -is said to be soothing to the system which is over -reacting. As temporary tonic.
Hope you are feeling better soon.
Meanwhile relax to some music -sleep often.

Pain in the knee can be caused by anything! I have RA and it is a wee bit more than just the knee, hands, elbow, spine so I see a Rheumatologist, who is the specialist in Arthritis. If you are worried it might be the start of Arthritis, suggest you see a Doc because the 'sooner' the disease is knocked on the head, the better you will be in the long run. The longer you leave the problem, if Arthritis, the less they can do and then you will end up a wheelchair user. Good Luck.

Arthritis is a chronic disorder and there is no known cure. I've had it for over 30 years. The most effective medications for arthritis is an anti-inflammatory agent like aspirin. You need something that will help with the inflammation and the stiffness not only the pain. My mother swears that eating a few almonds a day helps and drinking about a shot of vinegar. The almonds I can do but the vinegar no way.

There is no cure. Try some shots of Synvisc every few weeks into the affected area. After 3 wks., you should feel relief, and it should last for several months.
I got the shots in my ankles (pure bone...so LOTS of pain). After crying the first time, I took Vicodin a couple of hours before the shots. That helped tremendously.

Depends on what arthritis it is
There are two kinds..Osteo and rheumatoid.
I know that other than joint replacement surgery, there really isn't a cure for rheumatoid....sorry! My mom's had it for years.
All you can do is take pain meds...get oil massages...or acupressure/acupuncture...
The only thing with pain meds is that slowly... you'll keep moving to stronger ones...coz the body grows sued to the old ones.
Hope it isn't too bad for you. All the best!

Perhaps a web search for arthritis + "natural remedies" might be of interest.

If you can find a really good Naturpathic Physician, he/she might be able to help.
It is a long process of medication and diet, but I have seen it work.
