General Health Care - October 2007

I knocked my big toe on the kerb a few months ago (i was wearing flip flops) & it really hurt at the time, it was bruised but now its left me with a very black toe nail, will this eventually go away?
Also guess what i'm diabetic, I know there are complications with feet, however this does not hurst just looks ugly.

i just had 4 moles (one on my neck, 3 on my right side and down by my stomach) removed and of course they had to stitch them up, but they really really itch, what can i put on them to keep them from itching. i have valsolene on them to keep them moist. anything else?

I do ballet and recently started pointe (toe shoes for those of you who don't know :P) but whenever i go up on pointe my left foot cramps REALLY badly. It was getting better but i had to take a week off due to a sprained ankle, and it's doing it again. i take calcium supplements every night and eat a banana a day and nothing. any other good remdies?

I've got homework to do and I need to get rid of this headache. I can't consintrate and I took medicine and i'm not feeling better yet (been about 20 minutes). I had an MRI done on my back bc of severe lower back pain about 4 months ago (the pain is gone). The MRI came back "unremarkable" but did note that there is "a Tarlov cyst at the S2 level of the sacrum." Huh? My doctor didn't go over with me, so I guess it's not important. Help. What made it happen? Will it go away? What's a sacrum??

Over the counter painkillers do not work for me. Neither does a heating pad. How can I relieve the pain from this surgical scar tissue without having more surgery? My doctor gave me some Vicodin in the past, which did help, but she is worried about addiction with that. So I have to find an alternate pain relief. Please help, going out of my mind!

My fiance refuses to see a doctor about this despite me trying to make him. So, in the meantime does anyone know what this might be?

Every once in awhile he gets what looks like a small pin sized hole right on his tailbone area. The area around the hole looks red and slightly inflamed. Additionally, every now and then a small amount of puss will come out of the hole. He says it is uncomfortable but they always go away with time. I'm worried that it might be something serious that he should have looked at but he refuses. Maybe if I could go to him with some explantation of the cause it might help him decide to go.

So I was scratching in my "butt crack" and I scratched too hard and cut it with my finger nail. Pretty gross huh. Well it was a little cut and barely bled so I put a band aid on it and it was fine. A day or two later I wake up and strain my neck. I have a pinched nerve and I can't move my neck without having extreme pain. Well now I'm sitting in weird straight positions right on my new cut making it much worse. So for four days I didn't shower or change my clothes and made the cut worse. My neck healed but now I have a bad cut in a really awkward place. I've been putting band aids on it with neosporin but it still hurts. The area around it on my butt is tender and it hurts to walk and I can't sit down. The cut bleeds or spews pus, it sort of just switchs on and off. Is my cut infected? What should I do? Go to the doctor? And if I do what will the doctor do exactly? I'm sure its not a tetanus thing because it was my fingernail that cut it. Help me please. Thanks.

Somehow I grazed my knee on Saturday night, don't ask how, I was drunk.

It is all red and bloody and it is complete agony, I can barely walk.

I had surgery on my foot 3 months ago and apparently the Dr. sewed up a nerve during the surgery and I'm having pain.
I tried anti-inflammatories, pain meds, physical therapy and now 2 weeks ago he gave me a cortisone shot. It felt great the first week and now it feels the same as it did before the shot.
I thought cortisone is supposed to work for months? Is it possible it only helped me for a week?

Sometimes my jaw makes a popping sound when I open and close it. recently it has been very sore and swollen. It is hard for me to chew my food and open wide.

I diddnt do anything for this to happen. it just started like 1 yr ago slow steps.
