Make a paste of dry mustard and peroxide/water.
Put it on the infected area and put clean gauge to cover it, several times a day.

you shouldn't pop them unless absolutely necessary. the fluid inside the blister is sterile to your body and by popping them, you can cause germs to get inside the blister, causing an infection.

band-aid makes a special bandage for blisters (called blister ampoules). they are gel cushioned banadages designed to fit over your blister, preventing it from popping and protecting it from rubbing, causing pain. here is the link for them (any drugstore should have them) scroll down to middle of the page

Popping it will relieve the pain, and then put some antibiotic ointment and a band-aid on it. Works wonders.

I always pop mine with a sterilized needle and then put antibacterial stuff on it - although you are not supposed to pop it, it makes it feel better and I have never had an infection.
