Not bulimia-wise, just like, say you were extremely nauseous and you couldn't take it, and all of a sudden, after six years of not doing so, it happens?

Ah, I'm only sick and I'm extremely paranoid, to those who said if I kept doing it. I think it's because of that old cereal I ate... >_>;;

the only way anyone will die from puking is if they choke on their own puke. if they are flat on their back and the puke remains in the upper respiratory system, it would cause one to suffocate.

Good God! NO! You will not die if you are sick. In fact, if you're feeling nauseous and you posted this about five minutes ago then you've probably already been sick and discovered this for yourself. Vomiting is a natural reaction - it's the body's way of saying: "Better out than in!"
Yes, people have died from choking on their own vomit, and people (mostly elderly people or people in developing countries) have died from a combination of frequent, continuous vomiting and diarrhoea which does not leave the body opportunity to rehydrate. But a case of mild food poisoning (which, by the way, will not feel 'mild'), a bad hangover or a dodgy kebab will make you throw chunks and you will be just fine.
I don't like being sick either and generally avoid it at all costs, but in the end it's just one of those things you don't have control over so lean over the toilet and let your stomach make the decision for you.

It's possible to be killed by vomiting if you vomit so much and so often that your body can't absorb any nutrients, but you would have to be very sick. But along with that, vomiting causes your stomach to secrete more acid, which can erode the walls of your stomach and give you ulcers =( That can kill you, plus it's very painful. It can also burn your throat and cause it to bleed as well. But it's highly unlikely that you will ever die from it, especially if it is just a 24 hour flu bug or something of the like. I think you shouldn't have to worry.

If you try to hold it back or swallow it you can kill yourself. And you choke on your vomit and maybe kill yourself.
Vomiting can be very dangerous if the gastric content gets into the respiratory tract. Under normal circumstances the gag reflex and coughing will prevent this from occurring, however these protective reflexes are compromised in persons under narcotic influences such as alcohol or anesthesia. The individual may choke and asphyxiate or suffer an aspiration pneumonia.

Vomiting once shouldn't kill you. But if you were so sick you can't hold fluids you could die of dehydration. Cholera does that to you except most of your fluid come out the reverse way of vomiting.

You could choke, but that's as likely to happen as choking on food when you're eating. Well, less likely actually, since you eat far more frequently than you vomit.

people can die by aspirating vomit. it comes up from your stomach and goes into the airway, which causes the throat to constrict due to the acid in the vomit. then as the body tries to pull in air, the vomit clogs the restricted airway and you die from lack of oxygen

If it get's into your asaphogus, yep you can choke. I also heard that if you used to throw up all the time, your asaphogus can be damaged and vomiting can do serious complications.

You can die from vomitting if you puke so much that you become dehydrated and shrivel up like a prune. A really big dead prune.
