Somehow I grazed my knee on Saturday night, don't ask how, I was drunk.

It is all red and bloody and it is complete agony, I can barely walk.

Should I get it checked out in case of any joint damage?

If you are in any kind of pain and bleeding from an injury then you should absolutly see a doctor. What can it hurt to check it out, if anything they will just dress the wound and possibly give you an antibiotic ointment, but if there is something more wrong at least they can address it early.

You may have gotten an infection in it. If its swollen it might be a joint problem. Why don't you go to an nhs walk in centre or your local accident and emergency to see if you need an xray? In the meantime, just keep putting loads of Savlon or antiseptic cream on it. Knees are a real pain to heal.

Might be a good idea there could be some gravel or glass in it, you should also keep it clean with some antiseptic (Ouch) so that it doesn't get infected. If it smells at all then it will be infected.

Yeah you should. You may need an X ray or at least need it cleaned up properly. YOu could have dirt or gravel in there which will lead to infection. xx

You should have a tetanus jab if you are not up to date and make sure it is not infected.
