My little sister was at my neighbors house and she was playing with 5 pound weights and on accident she dropped the weight on her left hand and it has been bleeding for a while. We gave her childrens motrin and she says it doesn't hurt anymore but she can feel it throbbing. Her hand is elevated on 3 pillows. the nail is falling off and she is only 6 so as you can imagine she has little pain tolerance other than taking her to the ER how can we get the bleeding to stop?Thanks for your help in advance!!

I don't have health insurance right now so I can't get this checked out but there are two bites with white ring around the one. Itchy so I scratched them now I have what appears to be broken blood vessels and a rash that has spread all over my leg.

Largest bite is over a foot long.

I have an abusive bf ( I am seeing a dv advocate)and he got mad at me at like three in the morning a few days ago. He turned off the light so it was dark and bum rushed me to the ground and choked me. I couldn't breath and i blanked out for a sec. He then let go and for a couple hours he slapped me around and pulled my hair.
My problem is that my neck hurts really really bad and I have a sore throat. And when I eat or open my mouth my jaw line hurts and my ear hurts horribly. I do not see any brusies. Do you think he did any major damage to me? He has hit and choked me before but I usually recover after a day without any pain. I'ma little worried.

i have to wake up at 5am every morning to go to school. i eat breakfast around 6am. the thing is, as we drive to school i get horrible stomach pains and feel nausious and the pain wraps around to my back. about two hours later, it goes away. at night i can not sleep (i go to bed at 10 and it isnt until around 2 that i actually fall asleep) so i go on 3 hrs of sleep. around 8pm the stomach pains start up again continuing into my back.

i dont know what to do. my grades are dropping and i dont know what do do. my grandma (who has like 20 medical books and three cabenets full of vitamin bottles in her kitchen) told me to take potassium. she said it would help with the sleep because i am only sixteen and too young according to my doctor to take any sleep aids like lunesta or meletona so my grandma suggested potassium for sleeping and ginger for the stomach aches.

i just want this to stop. this is my jr year and my grades are falling. what should i do? will these things help??

My husband was playing with my daughter on a pair of power boots "Springy stilts" and after only 3 minutes he fell and broke both his arms and dislocated his wrist.

I have been having pressure in the sinus area of my head, even after being treated for a sinus infection. Now I also get shape or dull pressure pain in the lower back of my head. Right where the skull ends. It's very stong and uncomfortable. Any advice on what it might be?

My uncle was screwing in a light bulb except I didnt know so I flipped the switch and he shook for a few minutes and fell off the ladder on his head and then smoke came off of him...He just laying here on the floor unconcious!!! the TSH level which come to find out doesn't determine if you are hypothyroid anyway. I am going to go back to her and request new bloodwork be taken for a T3 and T4.

I had my upper left wisdom extracted 9 days ago. The past few days I have felt like something is in my throat, on the side of my throat that is the same side I had the wisdom tooth pulled. It's not sore, but I feel something there and it's annoying. I looked in my throat with a flashlight and saw a white patch on the same side of the wisdom tooth I had extracted. I went to the oral surgeon for a recheck yesterday to see how I am healing and showed it to him, and he said it was just something in the crevice of my tonsil and was not related to my wisdom tooth extraction (although it seems like a weird coincidence to me that I've never had this before and that it's on the same side of the wisdom tooth.) Anyway, he gave me a syringe and I said I could try to irrigate it out myself, but I tried and it doesn't work. Will it go away by itself if I leave it alone? Also, how can I be sure that's what it really is and not a throat infection? I am starting to get very nervous.

I had surgery on both arms for tennis elbow/tendinitis. My arms were not healing as fast as my doctors thought they should, so I asked my doctor for a prescription for deep tissue massage in my arms (to help the tendinitis). He gave me one and I called a licensed place that stated in the phone book that they do deep tissue massage therapy. I called them on the phone and made sure that they do this type of work and they said yes, no problem, just bring in my prescription to my first appt. So I did, and it ended up being a Chiropractors office which was clearly not set up for deep tissue massage on the arms. He has been working on my neck and back since end of August and at first at the end of each session he would pay some attention to my arms for about a minute. I questioned him about this because I was concerned about workers comp not paying the bill for a chiropractors office and he assured me that if they don't that my Blue Choice will pay for it. I'am 18 y/o and i got my tonsils removed 8 days ago and im still in pain!!!!!!!!!
