sometimes when I buy neosporin is is clear.
sometimes it is a white cream.
Can you tell from the package, which is which?
I would like to get the clear.

Ointment is clear I always take a little tube of Neosporin with me when I travel - if I get a cut or hangnail, it can prevent infection, medical bills, etc.

My packages indicate either antibiotic ointment or cream. the ointment is the clear stuff.

It should say ointment (clear kind) or cream (for the white kind) on the package.
