Basically, I have back problem and when the prescriptions were initially written I didn't need them but now the problem has flared up again and I can't get in to see the Dr until next month. Do you think there will be any pharmacists sympathetic to my problem that would fill the scripts? I'm not even sure when narcotic prescriptions expire in my state. Maybe it's a year?

the docter my grandpa is going said that he should get his tailbone removed. should he do it. the doctor said he would have no more back problems and always be in pain. has anyone had their tail bone removed if so tell me how it was. my grandpa wanted me to ask on here

I have very bad muscle aches and pain. Water isn't helping. Don't have gatorade here. Any ideas? Does being dehydrated make you achy all over? PLease help me.

I threw out my neck this morning... I litterally do not have a range of movement... So I went to the pharmacy and bought a neck brace, to keep from making involuntary movents. I don't want to go to the emergency room because I like my regular chiropracter who is open on Monday and I trust him (I don't want some stranger fooling around with my neck). Does anybody have any tips on what I can do to ease the pain until then??? Heat or Ice? I am not sure what I need to do exactly and is there any chance it might go back in by itself???

ive been having this weird tingling feeling in my butthole and above it to. its been happening for a week. last week i lifted up some heavy stuff so i think that can be caused by it. does anyone know how long it takes to go away or do i have to see a doctor?

I have been experiencing heel pain in both my feet for the past 6 weeks. I used to run regularly, but since the pain started I switched to bike riding to lessen the pounding on my feet, but I still have pain. I've also tried different footwear and insoles without much success. When I wake up in the morning my feet and ankles feel sore and tight, particularly in the achilles tendon area. Any ideas?

I'm an African American female and, as you may or may not know, we are very prone to keyloids. I already have three, one coming from a pierced earlobe. I really want to get my nose pierced but I'am not sure if keyloids can grow out of that area. There's more cartilage in the nose region then there is tissue, I believe, which wouldn't allow a keyloid to form but I dont know for sure. I'm not going to get my nose pierced if they do. Anyone know??

Anyone ever have this? I donated blood 4 days ago and i just noticed some bruising around and above where the needle was in my arm. Plus, there's been kind of a dull pain in my arm for the last day or two. Nothing too painful. I just noticed it especially today b/c I tried to lift weights with my arm. Does this sound serious?

Symptoms: Abdomen pain that radiates to the back lasting a few days at a time, occasional fever of 100.6, curling into fetal position provides relief, Low calcium level, Rapid pulse between 120-146, soreness in abdomen, repeated episodes.

I am desperate for answers. I have been to 6 doctors over this. all I get from them is wrong diagnoses.

My fingertip got pinched pretty hard and that area turned slightly dark/purple/red. It looks like it almost broke skin, not enough to let blood out. So I figure that there is no need to cut it. It's kinda swollen but not really that noticable.

Should I do anything to it or let it heal itself.

I have alot of health issues,but the two things that feel o.k. on me are my knees.My Dr. knows I've complained of a tearing feeling from my hip to groin (also swelling in groin) and down top of right leg.But he had an xray taken of my knee.I asked why,he said he suspected arthiritis in it.But it doesn't hurt,neither knee does.Why the xray?

I am currently on an antibiotic for a sinus infection and Entex for fluid in my ears. The Entex is making my life MISERABLE, it makes me extremely dizzy and anxious. I can't eat and I can't sleep and I am horribly moody. I've only been on it for 4 days of the prescribed 10. I can't deal with it anymore. I can't call my doc cause it's Saturday. Can I stop the Entex and just finish out the antibiotic?

I've always had such respect for nurses and what they offer and have always wished that I had it in me to become one... but everything they do gives me the heebie jeebies. Is this something that a lot of nurses have to overcome or is it more a "either you've got it or you don't" profession?
