I forgot to mention the pain is in my left side. I had a c-section 2 months before this started.

It's strange that you mention a c-section. I had a c-section also. When my baby was about 4-5 months old, my first "flare" started up. I had to lay in the fetal position, had a fever, and had severe stomach pain that went all the way to my back! I went to the ER a few times and they never could figure it out. A few days later I went to my gynecologist and he told me (I also have irritable bowel) the pain was due to my colon getting inflamed. It causes fever too. There wasn't anything they could do after I got better. This has happened to me about 5 more times since then. A few months after that happened, I got diagnosed with fibromyalgia. My rheumatologist said that a lot of people with fibromyalgia have symptoms like that too.

Well, my daughters operating team just had a lady that complained about pain right after her back surgery, it last for months, they finally had to do an exploratory because nothing was showing up, the pain was bad. Lo and behold, they found a towel in there, that's why it didn't show up.
The former surgeon had some explaining to do, the hospital settled for an undisclosed amount after a lawsuit.

One right after that was a knife for retraction. Things happen.
Go back to your original doctor and insist that there's something wrong. I also had an older daughter the had pain like this, every time she rode her horse after eating, they told me she needed psychiatric help. I almost hit the doctor, had I not worked for the hospital at the time, I would have.

She had an extra loop in her intestine that was falling into a block after eating and then exercise, they had to cut 14 inches out of her small intestine. She had your diagnosis by the way.

Chronic cholecysitits which is a chronic infection of the gall bladder most probably caused by stones obstructing the passage. Gatsric ulcer is another possibility. You need bloods, an abdominal ultrasound +/- endoscopy

You need to either see an Internal medicine dr. or a gastrointerologist...Don't know?..but may be an ulcer that can be treated with antibiotics..called H Pylori, but do go to an Internal Medicine Dr..they are for adults only and have a broader knowledge of medicine, where M.D. usually practices on all people and is in a building with other MD's or DO's...don't go to a D.O.....also, do you have your gall bladder?..though the symptoms you describe aren't consistent with gall bladder disease, they are with an ulcer..but, you never know..get it checked..by one of the dr.'s that I gave you above....

I had a very large tumor on my ovary that was somehow missed for years. They had to remove the tumor along with the ovary and the fallopian tube. It was very painful, but after a few weeks I was fine. I'm sorry you are in such pain. Good luck to you!
