It isn't a good idea as you can become dependent on them, and as the answerer above says...they can seriously muck up your liver. Try some brisk exercise an hour before you are ready to retire and then have a soak in a warm bath with a few drops of lavender and chamomile essential oils added. Don't drink tea or coffee before bed, just have a warm milk. If you take those simple measures you should find it easier to sleep.

Are you having pain? Is that why you're taking tylenol? Tylenol PM is tylenol with diphenhydramine hydrochloride (generic Benadryl). On the occasion that you need help sleeping, get yourself some generic benadryl and take one of those tablets. That way you will protect your liver and still get the drowsy effect. I'm not promoting taking sleeping pills, merely saying on occasion you may need something and the benadryl should be enough.

This is an answer to your question that was removed. I spent time writting an answer and wanted you to see it.

Mix what? Gee most humans are mixed. why even mention it????? It is rare to find anyone who doens't have a variety of nationalties in them. And if you are talking black or hispanic.......Shame on you. A baby is a baby and should NOT be "labled" as mixed. You will set up the child for troubles. Be proud of whatever nationalities are in your child.
If you make a big deal out of it, it will become a big deal.
To have a well adjust child don't dwell on this. Your child first of all is a valluable human being. No need to explain "mixed" when it doesn't need to be explained. You child might eventually say...."why is momy's skin so white and daddy's so dark?" Just say that God made us all different and variety of skin colors and all skin colors are valuable and be proud of who you are.
Please don't bend over backwards to find what you call a
"mixed name" Just pick out a name that both you and the dad likes.

I don't even want to suggest names because this upsets me that you are labeling a child before it is born.

It is supposed to be safe, but too much and the ingreadient in the tylenol, can eventually start giving you problems with your stomach, and if you have any kind of liver issues your liver. Tylenol, taken all the time is rough on the stomach and liver, otherwise, you should be ok. I do not know if what they use for the sleep aid is addictive, but I would think it may be.

Yup.

High levels of tylenol (or prolonged intake) can cause hepatoxicity (liver problems).

Talk to your Dr about why you need Tylenol PM to sleep. You can get meds to treat that.
