Come on ex-smokers. Lay it on me!! You know you like to talk about how you kicked the habit. Give me some creative ideas here! The gum sucks and the patch isn't cutting it!

What exactly do they do there? Do they give you medication for pain? Do they do some sort of injections? I've heard many things and I want to know what they really do there, cuz I have an appointment coming up. I've already had my MRI done and everything and I have a herniated disc.

I go to bed about 2 or 3 am. Right as I am getting close to going to sleep I will feel a weird feeling shoot down my right temple and through the main artery in my neck and at the same instant my heart rate spikes and pounds real hard and it disorients me for a few seconds then i am wide awake. The weird feeling through my temple is hard to describe but maybe the closest i can get is like a rush of blood, just feels like something go's through there, not painful but i feel it. After it is over i am wide awake, but have no problem going to sleep after it is over. I take a bi polar pill that helps me sleep so i have no problems sleeping. but I am wondering what would cause this problem. What could It be, what do you suggest? Only other info i can give you is I am a white male, 30 years of age and overweight.

After my conditioning run last week my lower leg (below knee cap) began to sore. I've tried a few things but doesn't seem to help. (Yes I do stretch, walk cool down laps, eat fruits/veggies, and drink 8 glasses of H20 )

Second part to the question I asked before....so ok I am pretty sure that the ER sends a report to my regular dr. about my visit. While I was there at the ER the doctor told me that the amount of painkillers I take per day need to be increased. But when I approached this subject with my doctor she just told me to go to pain management and disregarded the fact that the amount prescribed wasn't enough for the pain I have. Also, I had been previously prescribed Percocet at the ER a few months back for the same issue and that worked way better than the med I am on now which is Vicodin. How can I possible get my doctor to give me Percocet since I already know it works well seeing as she didn't even want to up my dose. Again, even the ER doctor said I should be taking more a day, so he clearly seen that my pain is that severe. Please help with any suggestions that you may have to get my Dr. to see eye to eye with me on my pain issue and what med works best. Any help is grea

I went sliding through some cleaning fluid that got spilled on the floor. I tensed up all my muscles and am still stiff a week later.

I mentioned to the boss that I was still hurting. She smarted back---I hurt too!

Somehow I don't think it's the same thing.

Am I right to say it's not the same to pull ever muscle in your body as it is to "hurt too!" ?

What do you think of her minimizing my problem and accident results?

His feet have been hurting really bad for the past few weeks and I've just realized that his feet, not his leg twitch and move in his sleep. Just wondering if this could be restless leg sydrome and how doctors treat it!

there is no pain, and the skin over the blister seems pretty thick. Will it heal quicker if I drain it? It is on the palm of my hand.

FYI, this was an accidental burn. The blister is about 1 inch long by about 1/2 inch wide. Its holding alot of juice!

I was at work the other day and had to go pretty bad, i noticed my far lower back was in an odd deep sharp pain that I hadnt experienced before. I was curious that maybe the pressure inside could maybe press against the spinal cord or something of the sort.

About a day ago after being accidently hit on my check/ear(not hard) I have a constant noise that sounds like a refrigerator turned on in my ear,or the sound you get in your ears after leaving a concert,or if you turn your head fast, and the air gets into your ears. When I hear normal sounds now they seem thicker, annoying, but if I put a cotton in my ear it hepls, but the sound of a turned on refrigerator remains. The strange thing is If I am in the car with the radio on I hear the music normal, but if I get out of the car I can hear the vibration of my feet touching the ground, and the sound of a refrigerator turned on in my ear returns. Will it go away? Can I put some type of drops in my ear to help?Thank you.

It only itches at night, not in the daytime. It will be like this for a week or so every few months and then it just goes away. What is causing this?
