How much does a private home aide cost on average?

I was thinking of hiring one possibly even just part time while I am pregnant since I am moving to NYC with husband but his job is very demanding and I dont want to be alone..

it depends on the nationality a lot more than anything. just ask around or search craigslist for the area, good luck
