I am currently on an antibiotic for a sinus infection and Entex for fluid in my ears. The Entex is making my life MISERABLE, it makes me extremely dizzy and anxious. I can't eat and I can't sleep and I am horribly moody. I've only been on it for 4 days of the prescribed 10. I can't deal with it anymore. I can't call my doc cause it's Saturday. Can I stop the Entex and just finish out the antibiotic?

Follow your Dr.'s instructions,{Doctor's Orders},your ear infection can affect your balance,but if it is really troublesome go to the nearest emergency.Don't fool around with your health.

You need to check on the compatibility of the medicines you're taking. Go online and type in drug interactions/compatibility and then look for one of your medicines and check it out and then the other one. Lot of info there. Alternatively make a search for the actual medicines and look under their drug interaction also. Hope this helps. I have done this several times with success. Failing this find the on duty pharmacy in your area and ask them. They are very obliging also.

It's not very professional to counter a doctor's order, more so without seeing the patient. Saturday or no, you should call your doc.
