Suck ice chips or eat lots of popsicles to help with dehydration, also drink drink drink. Aches and pains can be treated with tylenol or something like that. If you don't get better soon, seek medical help.

When was the last time you peed. You are hurting not because you are dehydrated (although you may very well be). But because you have lost all your electrolyes. And yes powerade and sports drinks can help. Achy muscles are normal associated with the loss of potassium. Orange juice is a good source as well as peppers. Bell pepper, banana peppers are fine. Bananas do have some potassium, but it is a myth that they are the best thing to eat.

The best thing though would be to get some Pedialyte, although it is made for infants it work great on adults too. In fact it was made for dehydrated patients. They have Popsicles and other fun stuff. Don't drink just water though you could make to situation worse. Fruit juices sports drinks Pedialyte whatever. Drink steady don't overload your stomach to fast, you might throw up. Do this until you start peeing clear.

Drink something with electrolytes like gatorade or powerade... if you don't have that then keep drinking water, but add a big pinch (and I mean just a big pinch) of salt to a glass of water. Also, cold water can cause you to feel crampy or nauseous if you are pretty dehydrated. Drink room temp water. The salty broth is a good idea, but too much salt can upset your stomach easier than normal right now, so just a little bit with intervals in between to make sure it stays down...

Also, your blood sugar could be a bit low. Have a piece of fruit or a couple cookies and see if that helps too...

Stay away from anything carbonated, or with caffeine or alcohol as all of these thing draw out more water than they add in the long run...

Stay quiet and out of the sun for a few hours... you are more vulnerable to heat problems for a while.

hate to tell you but you need to drink water. That is the answer to your aches and pains. gatorade is good but water is even better. Have fruits and eat healthy food. Depending on your weight size you need to replenish your body with water. The formula for water intake is usually this:Bodyweight divided by 2=number of oz your body needs in a day. For example I am 200 pounds so my water intake would be 100 oz. So i usually drink 1 gallon of water a day. 4 liters of water is just a lil bit over a gallon is what I calculate as well. The way to tell is by your urine. The clearer the better. Stop drinking water 2 hours before you go to bed as well. The more you piss the better. But watch your water intake. You have to be very careful because your body can only take so much water. Hopefully this helps you. You'll feel better!!!!!

Get some power aid or gator aid. You can also ask your local pharmacist for a special electrolyte drink that will help you replenish your system faster.

Don't take a salt broth. If you put too much sodium in your body you will dehydrate more. You need some sodium but also potassium which is the reason for the above suggestions.

Usually when I can't quench my thirst, I put some drops of lemon or lime in my water. That helps me. You can decide yourself about the number of drops, so that you feel a little sourness when drinking.
If this does not help, you have to measure your Blood sugar.

Gatorade is best. Also replaces electrolytes.
Salt anything, NO.
No liquor, beer, coffee or tea.
If you are extremely dehydrated, you may need IV.
