is filtered water good for health? is it true that filtered water is as good as bottled water?

I had an extended abdominoplasty and hernia repair that required 1608 internal stitches 4 weeks ago. At that time the surgeon put a surgical drain in place. He explained he expected to remove it in 7-9 days. It has now been 4 weeks. If removed too soon, I am told that it could be necessary for needle excision of coninued fluid buildup. What, if anything can I do to help this process along so the fluid buildup ceases.

I've been on accutane for 1.5 months (first 20 mg/day, now 40 mg/day) and of course my skin is real dry....I'm able to deal with the dry face and lips, but lately I'm getting this like dry bumpy red rash all down my arms, a bit on my chest and hands.
Has anyone else experienced this while on accutane and have you gotten any certain creams to treat it?

btw, its spreading slowly, so any fast treatments are appreciated

I don't know if I'm sick, but I have a bad headache, which feels like I've been crying for a while or like ice is melting on my forehead. My throat is a little sore and I feel hungry (this might be because I didn't eat much lunch today)... Again, I might not be sick, it might just be a headache and hunger.. What do you think?

I was listening to my sons heart with a stethescope and he was sitting on my lap. I would here his heart beat, your normal thump thump, when then it would all of a sudden just beat fast and then normal again. Is this something that is normal?? I dislocated my left shoulder 5 days ago. I followed up with my doctor and he recommended PT. My insurance won't cover the PT and I don't have the $150 a week to pay for PT. The PT is supposses to last for 6 weeks. I need some good reccomendations about at home PT to help regain range of motion.

A friend of my is being charge of child abuse becuase his girl friend son had brusies on his right adoman and had a laceration to the right lob to his liver. My friend has a BA in human development and is a kindergarten teacher never been in trouble. A great husband and Christian role model also worked for socail services.I know he would not hurt a fly. Could this happen do to a fall? The child doesn't drink milk and hardly eats meat. He is very fair skin and bruises easly. The child hardly walks do to he is 15 months year old. He was in the hospital for only 2 days and did not have sergery or they never gave him medicen. All they did was give him a IV." salt water" PLEASE HELP HE IS A GREAT GUY I KNOW HE DID NOT DO IT , COULD it have BEEN FROM A FALL OR DO TO SICKNESS ,the child never got his one year old shots also.

I was under my car trying to figure out how to replace the Constant Velocity joint. By some force of nature the car fell off 1 jack stand and the corner of the transaxle pressed HARD on one or two of my ribs. Anyways it hurts more now than it did at the time. It's been 12 hours. What should I do? Should I just put ice on it and it would go away?
