Try an anti-inflammatory diet. Cut way back on processed food and sugars. Cut back on protein; try not to have more than four ounces a day. Yoga, walking and water exercise is great for arthritis. Be sure not to overdo it. Eat anything high in Omega-3. Fish like salmon or nuts like walnuts. I go to http://www.drweil.com to get advice.

I hope this helps. I have it, too and it's just a matter of time before I get a hip replacement. In the meantime, I try to do my best to watch what I eat.

Besides sharks cartilage, glucosamine and condroyton (spelling??)....
Muscles can have knots (trigger points) that make them tight which in turn put pressure on nerves and other things causing pain.
Molasses - a couple of swigs or Bananas 1 or 2 - both contain magnesium and potassium for muscles.
Try working with the principles taught in The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.
I use a chiropractor and massage therapist with it

It's sad. There is no medicine to treat it.
If you are overweight reduce weight by keeping on little food and salads.
Avoid sour foods.
Don't eat if no hunger. Keep on fast for day and have some food at night.
Do some exercises in sleeping position.
You can go for surgery otherwise wait for some time, after fund arrangements we are starting OA centre.
