The calf contains muscles considered to bee foot muscles....
Muscles can have knots (trigger points) that make them tight which in turn put pressure on nerves and other things causing pain.
Molasses - a couple of swigs or Bananas 1 or 2 - both contain magnesium and potassium for muscles.
Try working with the principles taught in The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.

your foot cramps could be caused by low potassium levels. you could try to eat more foods high in potassium, such as bananas, broccoli, ect. If that doesn't work you should check with your doctor to see if there is anything else you can do.

It might be arthritis. You might not be able to control it with over the counter medication. Consult your doctor. That is why my foot pains were.
