I have been having troubles sleeping, sometimes i will only sleep maybe 2 hours a night, im not stressing about anything, nor thinking of anything in particular, i just cant sleep, any tips or ideas that people can suggest that might help?... please dont suggest some sort of sleeping pill as i refuse to take anyting like that, I would like to try getting to sleep on my own.

im in boxing and i wanna know how i can stop my nose from bleeding so much , because when i get punched just a little bit i bleed a lot and when they keep hitting me it goes al over the place every time i bleed , i bleed way to much and i cant seem to stop it.

Would someone be so kind as to help me with basic First-Aid? I will be awarding a best answer Any help at all is great! The first aid stuff here is more practical, but please explain a bit in your answer.

My boyfriend and I get bad gas pains every so often. What have you used and what do you reccomend? Any foods to try or avoid?
I have tried zantac which seems to work the best, but doesn't always do the job.

Hi, My name is Megan. I have been having wrist problems for sometime now. I am 17 and ever since 8th grade I my wrist have always hurt on and off and now it doesn't stop. My doctors told me at first it was tendentious my freshmen year. Last year (my junior year) I went back because the problem has only got worse and they told me it was Carpal tunnel and yet they did nothing for me. Now I am a senior and have been dealing with this for a while and I went back to the doctors and they are now sending me to a surgeon about this but I don't go back until March 19 and I was just wondering what you all think and what I could do to help with the pain until them. well my heart has been hearting lately ever since this past thursday and it comes and goes and i get weird pains in my left arm and my left hand would tingle. Does anyone know what could be wrong I mean iam only 17years old if that helps any. please be serious thanks.

I'm convinced i have CTS, i have a few of the symthomns, such as i wake up and left hand is numb, i get shooting pains in my left wrist up to my thumb and index finger, my hand constantly falls asleep, its hard to grip things in my left hand just because of the pain...

since i'm right handed and its in my left wrist/hand, it only affects me sometimes during the day. Is this really worth going to the doctors and getting it checked out? and if i just wrap it in an ACE bandage [just to keep it a bit supported] will this help with some of the pain?

I have already been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, but this is really bad. It's chronic and seems to flare up at different periods. It's so bad that I can't sleep and awake in the middle of the night.

I've had TMJ for about 3 and a half years now. I was 13 when i 1st had it now im 16. When i went to the an TMJ doctor, he told me to do some jaw exercise and eat soft food for a week, and if it doesn't heal by then he told me to come back and see him. I was young and stupid so i ignored it thinking TMJ wasn't such a serious problem. My jaw still cracks till this very day but since its been 3 years my jaw cracks so easily it doesnt hurt anymore. Now im scared my TMJ disorder can never be fixed. =( Any answers would be great because i was wondering if i should go back an ask to the TMJ doctor.
