i had my`en out at about the same age, i won`t lie" it will be sore the frist few days" i remember waking up in the recovery room feeling very thirsty" and asking for water" and they said you don`t really want water right now"! they made me weight a few hours" and then only gave me a half of a cherry Popsicle, and told me to start with it very" slow" take very" small bites at frist, after awhile i keep asking for more" and got them" then the next day i graduated to ice-cream, the next day i tryed chicken soup" went back to the ice-cream and Popsicles" and i stayed with them for almost a week" and then hunger finally won" and i forced myself to eat a cheeseburger""!!! and after that i could eat everything""!!!

It's no big whoop. After the first day, enjoy the moaning and groaning and extra attention. Before you know it, you'll forget the pain. If you have brothers and sisters you will discover this the first time you yell at them and realize you have no more pain. Pretty quick, most of the time.

Just to not worry as it is really a simple procedure. I had mine out when I was 14 which has been about 39 years ago.

Lucky you, lots of icecream coming your way! But, before you eat that, make sure you are fully recovered from the anastesia or you may get sick to your stomach.

I had it done. The general anesthetic is a little funny feeling but before you know it your awake and its over. Doesn't hurt much though

just relax..its a simple just a simple procedure..nothing to worry about..just avoid hot beverages after the operation..
