My boyfriend and I get bad gas pains every so often. What have you used and what do you reccomend? Any foods to try or avoid?
I have tried zantac which seems to work the best, but doesn't always do the job.

No, my *** doesn't hurt when I fart...gas pains are often mistaken for heart attacks. This is when air gets trapped inside and you have trouble getting it out.

Don't laugh cause this seriously works....
Get on all fours like a puppy...i'm not kidding
Exhale all of the air out of your lungs and then suck your tummy in and out....you will fart in no time
That exercise is great for pushing trapped gas "down the pipe" and also to control the pain that comes with having the poops.

For gas pains, try Gas X which is chewable tablets which you can buy off the shelf at your pharmacy.
You should avoid beans mostly. Ice cream, milk, raw vegetables can also give some people gas. Anything that you see gives you gas, then stop eating it. Zantac is not for gas pain, but slows down acid production in the stomach.

Eno or 7up! A pinch of salt in 7up helps. Some times some food can cause gas. Cut beans off your diet.
(Gas and beans: The flatulence caused by dried beans is created by oligosaccharides, complex sugars that-because they're indigestible by normal stomach enzymes-proceed into the lower intestine where they're eaten (and fermented) by friendly bacteria, the result of which is gas)

I get them a lot and they are only releived by farting and i dont like takin pills so i usually roll up in a ball and it helps let it out or i suck in air and gulp which helps pass gas. Try eating beans or drinking apple juice

I know this work and I can garantee it .....Buy Apple cider Vinager and drink one glass of water with one tablespoon Aple cider vinager....It taste good beleive me just think about a salad and it would be so easy to eat it.......the vinager makes the acid in your stomach move out and that will help you to stop having gas, pain bad breath also try it very very good

Flatulate and belch all you need to. There is no reason to suffer pain. Avoid beans, broccoli, potato chips and boiled eggs. Eat slowly to avoid swallowing air. Try some ginger ale.

Try taking a nap, the total relaxation of the body lets air out, always works for me and you don't have to spend money on meds.

Try to pay attention to any foods that set off the pains, and then just take beano pills, you can find them just about anywhere.

anything with peppermint in I use no gas its peppermint oil and works great for me. there are a few brands on the market just check your local pharmacy
