Im 20 and have been experiencing discomfort in my chest for about 3 days now. Its not major, debilitating pain, but it is noticeable and it has me worried. I have an appointment with a doctor tomorrow morning but was hoping for some opinions before i go along.
The discomfort (which ranges from a dull ache to a feeling of pressure) is in the upper left of my chest, which is the reason why im worried. The fact that it is localised on the left means the pain is coming from around the region of my heart. I know it could be any number of other things (stress, pulled muscle etc.) but im really paranoid that it has something to do with my heart. However, i know heart problems arnt really common in people my age.
So what do you reckon? is it worth worrying about, am i getting myself worked up over nothing? can anyone suggest anything else that might be causing it?
