this girl on my bus got in a fight with me and i have a lot of bruises and a swollen eye and my friends tell me i can press charges but i dont know how

Go to the police department, they will take pictures of the bruises, and will have you fill out a report, they will then turn the report over to the District Attorney and then they will file papers of aggrivated assult and go pick the person up. I have been through this with my sister.

you should have done it right when it happend. Take pictures and contact the police department tomorrow! Then, they will ask you what happend, you'll write it down and they'll ask you if you want to press charges. Say yes, and they'll let that girl know. In short, go to the PD and they'll do it for you. It's no big thing.

Call the police and file a police report... They'll want pictures and stuff of your bruises and such as evidence, so don't put it off.
