The doctor's hoped it would absorb and heal. Three weeks later, and it has now hardened into a hard mass. It is very painful, and I can't get most of my clothes on. It is so painful I have had a hard time sitting, of course, sleeping. Anything that will help. I already do the ice, heat, nothing helps.

OMG that is soo sad for you. You may need to get it removed since it hardened. Go to the ER ASAP

Did you take any anti-inflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen? If it's that painful you need to go back for medical attention asap! Good Luck!

my mum got exactly the same thing but she fell off my horse onto hard flint rocks. u just have to be very careful it will soon die down, my mum still has a bit of a lump and she says its numb but there is no pain there anymore

um, go back to the doctor? your PC physician should be able to get the hospital records and see the doctor's notes.
