it's called a myoclonic contraction, and it's very common, and nothing to worry about.

huh? Are you epileptic? Did you check to see if there were any quakes in your area?
You know, I had a similar thing happen to me once. I swore me and my entire bed were shaking one night and that it was real, but we had not had an earthquake...it was just a dream or I was being possessed by the devil is what I have come up with...LOL Seriously.

Was it a seizure?
It could be when your body goes into REM sleep you are just about to go but, something awakes you and your body shkes b/c u are starteled. It happends it's not comfortable but, it happends to me every once in a while

You may have epilepsy.I have that.It is not really a problem unless you have them really frequently or they last longer than 20sec.See a doc to be sure.

you might have has a sleep fit ,my daughter has them ,and they can start all of a sudden,it might pay for you to get a health check,if you have anymore you will have to have a ecg ,or a brain scane,as this is not normal,

sounds like you may have had a small stroke because when you have a stroke your body feels like its shaking
