I am having pain, numbness, and tingling of my fingers but doc says it is not the nerve involved with carpal tunnel. It is affecting my pinkie and ring finger and most of my palm. He explained it's the other nerve that runs to my hand that is affected. This is affecting my grip,sleep and most important my driving. I finally have an appointment with a nerorologist next week but this has been going on since October. Does anyone know the name of the nerve or any possible treatments?

I know this ain't doctor on this site... I just started to have some pain in my upper left ribcage but it felt like it was pulled muscle or something and my parents told me it looked a little swelling. Is there any condern what can be to have that pain?

i have an irregular heart beat, which feels like it's jumping out of my chest, chest pain which spreads over my left shoulder, and then spreads to my neck and my head. the muscles tense up and i actually have bumps on my neck, head and shoulder. then i am sick. this lasts for about three days, and then for four days i'm ok and it starts again.

okay i hate needles! to me they hurt worse than anything in the world! but im almost in 8th grade and i'm a cheerleader so i have to get physicals and shots if i need it and it hurts because i have little fat and i am just so scared of them but i want to get my ears peirced again and my belly button so how do i get over the fear???? i think i am scard 4 life cause i had a shot in my hip and it hurt ALOT and they have always hurt me but people say they dont hurt but to me it really HURTS!!!! plz answer i need to get rid of the fear! thanks!

My fiance recently underwent a colonoscopy and the prior preparation required her to "clean out her system". Would flushing the body in this way be a healthy thing to do on a regular basis? She honestly lost nearly 9lbs in the ummm......flushing process.

Have had cerical fusion w/bone on c-6/c-5, now c4,c7 herniated and c3 is bulging,numbness in both arm, continued tightnes across shoulders, knife pain in both shoulders, hip pain, knee pain, dealing with this for 4 years, have degenerative disc disease, stenosis, and emg says denervation at c7, havebeen to six doctors from just nuerologist to nerosurgeons, everyone says no help only drugs but they do not make the pain go away, only 44, missbeing able to go anyplace, anyone know of any help.....

i have a red puffy and also painful spot developing right where my eyelip and lashed met (lower lid). its more like my skin is swollen then a spot....at first i thought it was my contacts but it is definitely not..the pain does go away when i put teabags on my eyes...what is causing this infection?? a couple days ago i had some white stuff appear but NOTHING like pink eye and i havent noticed any white stuff since then...thoughts? MED PEOPLE OR PEOPLE WITH EXPERIENCE ONLY PLEASE!!!

My Mom has been suffering from the Shingles for two years. She has tried Pain Blocks, topical creams, etc., and cannot get relief. A family member mentioned that getting Botox injections would help. Paying for all his medical needs regarding the injury, like physical therapy, facet injections etc. His company might end up settleling with him after the surgery and his lawyer told him that he MIGHT get 40k, to us that amount sounds unfair, his back is messed up big time and even tho we are not after the money, his life has changed dramatically after the injury, (emotionally and physically), there for we think 40k doesn't meassure up to the injury, so my question finally is: How and where can we find out what would be the right amount to settle for with a back injury that ended up with surgery?

I have pain on the middle of the outside of my foot. It's not in the arch area, but it's on the side of my foot. It began hurting the day after running 9 miles. It's not a consistent pain; it only hurts when I walk. I have a high arch. What could the pain be?

My Doctors has me on Methyl-Prednisolone for back pain. There not working and I'm having a MRI this week.
I'm a EMT who has severe Rt hip & Back pain. My doc does not think I need pain meds. He wants me to do therapy. I'm a skier and a outdoorsmans who has chronic pain. Any thoughts?

He has an eye condition.
Eye doctor,is doing a detailed eye exam. Which includes eye-drops. He hates these,won't let anyone near his eyes !!

So to keep him still, they are putting him in a "Mummy Restraint"

What is this ? Will it hurt him ? Can i be with him ?

I study yoga at home without a teacher. After 2 weeks practicing it, I can't straighten my right leg.
It just feels that it would rip. It's soo tight and around my thighs there's some red line. What could it possibly be? Help me I'm in pain!!
