I am having pain, numbness, and tingling of my fingers but doc says it is not the nerve involved with carpal tunnel. It is affecting my pinkie and ring finger and most of my palm. He explained it's the other nerve that runs to my hand that is affected. This is affecting my grip, sleep and most important my driving. I finally have an appointment with a nerorologist next week but this has been going on since October. Does anyone know the name of the nerve or any possible treatments?

That would be your ulnar nerve. The nerve may be compressed on the back bony part of your elbow. Its called cubital Tunnel Syndrome.
Alot of times if you have to work on a computer alot throughout the day and your elbow spends a lot of time in flexion (bent) it causes the nerve to get stretched out and compressed.
Other causes may be if you have a tendancy to sleep with you elbows in flexion.
Maybe to relieve some tension at night try wearing a soft splint that helps keep your arm extended. These splints or braces could be found at WalMart or a drug store in the health needs.
For more info look up "cubital tunnel syndrome" on google
