I'm on 90 mgs of Methadone for about 5 months almost now. Started on 10mgs of lexapro 5 days ago, and am now adding the Soma. My doctor does not know that I am on Methadone when I got prrescribed the Lexapro and the Soma. It made me quiet more drowsy when I started on the Lexapro. Them today I took a soma And it made my methadone feel almost twice as strong. Which of the medicines do you think is responsible for making me so drowsy. Should I cut one of them off? I don't want to be so high I'm like a vegetable now. I take the methadone because I got out of using heroin and have not touched it since. Which I plan to stick to even though I know it will be hard but I did enough of that, and that phase of my life is complete. Now I feel Its the Somas that are really knocking me out mixed with the methadone. I got the soma for shoulder blade pain from a car accident I was in. I would really like it if someone or a profesional in the medicalfield could give any ansewrs or suggestions.thx Joe

it all started when she was 2 months pregnant. the nauseas feeling, even throwing up. But there was also excruciating pain in the stomach. it got so severe that she ended up spending most of the pregnancy in the hospitals with a demerol drip. she has been to all the hospitals in the area plus some that are 50 miles away. Given all the test that the doctors can imagine. Her veins colapsed from all the needles. no one can figure out what is going on. It has been a year and a half since she delivered a healthy little girl, but the pain and vomiting still persist. Has anyone out there ever gone through this and can you tell me what is going on. Its not her pancreas, galbladder, intestines or anything that the doctors can put a finger on. Please help, we are desparate.

Does this happen to you?
Ok, no gross inappropriate answers please...

When I use whitening mouthwash and/or whitening toothpaste, the inside lining of my mouth peels off. Its really gross! What the heck is going on? Am I going to get cancer or something?

I heard it helps as a muscle relaxant but I also heard that the combination make th pain medicine work better. My father broke his neck and had to have part of his hip taken out and put in his neck to prevent future complications. He was told to take percocet and soma, but he does not like taking the Soma all the time because it puts him out and he dosn't like that . He feels its to strong taking them both. He has to take the pain medication because of th pain and he is ok like that, but with the Soma he only takes it at night now because its too strong he says. So my question is does the soma make the pain medication stronger or is it a cobination type thing where they both work together? And could he stop taking the soma, because the doc said the they work toghether. Is there a alternative? Thank you for listening. If a profesional that works in the medical field could give me any input that would be great. best wishes,Joe

If you have had this proceedure, would you tell me
1.Did the pain disappear?
2.How long were you in pain
3.How long did it take you to be able to get back to your original life style?
4.Would you do it again?

For like a year I've been geting a snuffy nose only at night, during the daytime I'm fine, but every single night when I lay down I get a stuffy nose, then when I stand up I'm fine again. Any ideas what is causing it?

I've tried doing research on this to pinpoint some sort of at-home treatment to prevent seeing the doctor (can't afford right now). Basically, I have a constant degree of pain below my right shoulder that I've never had before. The only thing I really can see that caused it was some stretching, but that isn't out the of ordinary. Its been pretty constant now for 3 days and even hurts when I inhale deeply or yawn.

Anyone out there expieriencing this too? Any recommendations for treatment. Currrently I'm taking 8-hour tylenol.

Thank you!

I heard from an athletic trainer a while back that a method of quickly stopping a nose bleed is by strongly hitting the bottom of the person's (who's bleeding) heel with the bottom of your fist. She said something about the force traveling up the leg? Has anyone ever heard of this of tried it??

I've been living here all my life and I can't stand it. I've gotten into so much trouble, the people here are so unfriendly and judgemental. The part of London I live in is very racist. The Non-Racist areas in London happen to be the poorer areas. I would like to let non-Londoners how horrible this city is; the nicest part obviously is the central part (the most expensive part). There is smog everywhere. If you have GoogleEarth you can view London from above, and it is literally brown and grey. Public transport is so expensive, so is petrol, road tax, and insurance prices. I would not be suprised if the government started charging us to walk on the pavement! There is so much more I could write here, but there is not enough space! What's it like where you live?
