especially in the morning, not as bad during the day

Could likely be from sleeping but if it's staying somewhat numb during the day, you need to go see the doctor. Like they said above, it could be a nerve problem, diabetic neuropathy, or a circulation issue. Your health care provider can best assess and test for these things.

it could be several things, you could just be sleeping on it funny, you could have poor blood circulation, or you could have a nerve problem. if it gets really bad you might want to see a doctor. my mother had a problem where her foot would go numb and tingly and it turned out she had to get surgery in her leg because of it.

Go to the doctor immediately, it could be the first signs of diabetes. I work at a clinic, and I've seen people with diabetes who have similar symptoms.

Any numbness should be reported to a doctor. Could be poor blood circulation, which can be caused from something serious. Please see your doc.
