Klonopin is a medication normally used for seizures and panic attacks. I don't think it will have much effect for your headache. You could try alternating between ibuprofen and acetaminophen. These are two different medications for pain. Read the labels and do not take over the recommended daily dosage.

The combination of ibuprofen 3 200 mg tablets and Tylenol 3 325 mg tablets 4 times daily is very effective. As there are different types of headaches I would need more information to be of much help. Clonazepam is a tranquilizer and it may help with both migraine and 'tension' (muscle) headaches although there are more direct and effective medications available. At this point in time there are sufficient options that the vast majority of headache sufferers may be put at ease by a family physician.

We have natural PRESSURE points all over our bodies...
On our head we have several PRESSURE POINTS.
You may find something online, or a book to help you find them.
Often, if I get a HEADACHE, which for me fortunately is rare...
I may try to use the pressure points allready there to relieve the PRESSURE of the headache.
For a "frontal headache" your TEMPLES, on either side of your head are good.
Use your middle finger and thumb, and lightly press these points, to allievate the headache.
You also have points on the back of your head, little dimples, if you will, on the back of your head...you can use your POINTER, MIDDLE and RING finger of your left hand, and your thumb a little lower down, almost on your neck.
This may help allieviate pressure or headaches in the back of your head.
I wish I could be of more help.
My g.f. gets migraines from time to time, and she has said that this METHOD has greatly reduced the pain, or even seemed to make it go completly away.
This may not work everytime.
You have to also consider your diet..
Are you a BIG COFFEE DRINKER?
I drink coffee EVERYDAY, sometimes if I do not have "my coffee", I get a terrible headache. CURE, drink some good strong coffee.
Are you DEHYDRATED?
Sometimes if we get Dehydrated, or DRINK LOTS OF WATER to stay HYDRATED, we "push all the MINERALS out of our BODIES.
We need a certain ammount of SALT in our bodies.
I used to live in the DESERT.
Working PHYSICALLY DEMANDING jobs out in EXTREME heat.
Drinking lots of water and not REPLENSHING the SALTS in my body would cause a SEVERE HEADACHE.
Well, I hope I helped.
You need to be eating healthy too, often a lack of food will cause headaches.
Some of what I just mentioned seems like stuff EVERYONE knows. but I am just trying to help...
Otherwise, perhaps you should consult your DOCTOR, and see what he recommends.

SIDE EFFECTS: The most commonly noted side effects associated with clonazepam are sedation, which is reported in approximately 1 in 2 people (one-half of patients), dizziness (one-third of patients), weakness, and unsteadiness. Other side effects include a feeling of depression, loss of orientation, headache, and sleep disturbance.

Reduced severity and duration
Ibuprofen reduces the severity and duration of non-specific or tension-type headaches. In clinical trials, it was more effective than paracetamol 1000mg and aspirin 650mg in relieving headache and as effective as aspirin 1000 mg. Rapid onset of analgesia is an important benefit of any treatment for the relief of headache. Ibuprofen has a rapid onset of action and provides faster relief of pain than paracetamol 1000 mg.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information
