I've been living here all my life and I can't stand it. I've gotten into so much trouble, the people here are so unfriendly and judgemental. The part of London I live in is very racist. The Non-Racist areas in London happen to be the poorer areas. I would like to let non-Londoners how horrible this city is; the nicest part obviously is the central part (the most expensive part). There is smog everywhere. If you have GoogleEarth you can view London from above, and it is literally brown and grey. Public transport is so expensive, so is petrol, road tax, and insurance prices. I would not be suprised if the government started charging us to walk on the pavement! There is so much more I could write here, but there is not enough space! What's it like where you live?

The Mayor hates living in London huh? ;) Bud, I did live in London for a while-was there for my Fellowship exams, its a wonderful city but extremely costly! The things that I can buy/do at my place are costlier by atleast 10 times there!

There is nothing like one's home town but then its surprising that you find it awful to live there! Sympathies to you!

Why dont you make a trip to India, Incredible India? ;) It has its own good and the bad. You might enjoy its mystic charm!

Hmm, the place where I live is good, but hot and humid. Its the winter season now so the clime is pretty ok, but then we use the air conditioner most of the year so it suits me fine. You get all world class commodities at much cheaper prices than folks in the US or UK. Medical costs here are waaaaay cheaper than the West. No wonder India is picking up in 'medical tourism'.

I used to live near Heathrow, I have worked in London though. Now I live just outside Benidorm on the Costa Blanca in Spain. It's absolutely gorgeous. The sun is shining and the sky is blue and I can see the med from here. Most people are really friendly I love it, I can't imagine living anywhere else.

I'd move if I were you./

I come from Dublin in Ireland and it is very polluted also, there is so much dust and smog everwhere. More people take their car etc to work and this makes the roads very busy especially in the mornings. Some parts of Dublin are quite rough and the place is so build up, hundreds of apartments apearing out of no-where. Their is quite a high crime rate in Dublin as well and some places the people from that area attack the police and Firemen who are only trying to help. It is very expensive to buy a house here as well.

i'm 18 additionally & surely love London Tbh i do no longer think of i could desire to ever flow away haha ! I mean.. going as much as the city & seeing each and all the excellent websites is like wow i in my view stay right here.. you ought to savour how fortunate you're. the sole reason it rather is costly is in view which you're paying to stay in between the main renowned places in the worldwide. i flow to the rustic from time to time.. like Dorset & that yet I purely would not have the flexibility to stay there!! I mean they have like a million bus an hour.. nowhere to flow of a night.. surrounded via fields.. etc. ok now i've got rambled. yet in certainty in case you do no longer like it then flow?
