My brother smoked a little pot twice in the past month (not a regular habit), now he is getting a new job and has to have a drug test in 2 wks. He's kinda flippin out about it, should he be and will it show up???
Please don't state the obvious; he shouldn't have smoked.

if in doubt..you can buy a home drug test at any pharmacy ( at Rite Aid they are near the pharmacy counter, by the condoms and diabetic supplies..you do not have to ask for them ) for under 25 bucks..
They are very accurate and will tell you exactly what the lab test will show..
Make sure he drinks alot of fluids , starting 3 days before the test..do not over do it with fluids within the 12 hours before, it will over dilute the urine and it will not make the test valid ( he will pee straight water and it will be rejected )
If it was at least 2 weeks ago he has a good chance of passing as long as he is not a chronic smoker and he drinks enough to keep his system flushed well..
Good Luck, but I do suggest taking the home test an hour before he goes in..just for good measure..

depending on your metabolic makeup pot can stay in your system detectable by a urine sample for up to a month. look into getting some type product that cleanses the urine.
Your Brother shouldn't have done it and needs to stop, did he tell you it was only two times or is this a more serious problem. It could be that he is lying about his use and he should seek help.
Be a good sister and help him not only get the job in the short term but to keep it for the long term.

Tell him to take a niacin suppliment vitamin (it's water soluable so passes through the urine) and drink lots and lots of water. It's the cheapest way, those toxic cleaners will remove it but most are rather expensive.
I know someone who's been a regular 'left handed' smoker for over 30 years and he's never failed a test using this.

That would depend on how much he smoked. Twice in the past month you say? Something could show up on the urine test.

That's a sticky situation. Obviously, tell him not to smoke again, have him drink lots and lots of water and hope for the best. It stays in some people's systems for up to 6 weeks but I have know some people who have smoked and passed a drug test within that same week. He should be okay if he didn't smoke too much when he smoked.

This could be an issue actually, from what I know, the cannaboids once they had unlodged themselves from your fat cells rest in your blood for about 3-4 weeks after you have smoked the pot. You should be a little concerned about this as he may be detected once he is tested. Try to find a detox kit, although I doubt their reliability.

Tell him that it takes 30 days to flush anything out of your system. There is an 80% chance it is giong to show up. I have a brother in the army who is a stoner. He finds out when he is being tested and a lilttle over a month before he stops. Tell him good luck for me.

It may. Depends on how much he smoked and what kind of drug test they give. It can show up in a hair follicle test for 3-6 months.

There are many ways of getting it out of your system. You can go to whats called a head shop and thye have shakes that get i tout of your system or at least cover it up. Drink lots and lots and lots of water something to make you pee alot. Vinegar gets it out of your system but i dont recommend that lol and cranberry juice does the trick formany people there are cranberry pills that can do the same as drinking the juice. hope i helped a little
